Just got a catalogue through from NetShop (www.netshop.co.uk but their site
is down at the moment) and their solid CAT5e is about £35 a 305m box
... I
paid about £32 a box from my local City Electrical Factors. NetShop
do
stranded CAT5e for £55 a box (305m) in about ten colours.
Sockets are usually about £2.20 - £2.50 *EACH* and the
faceplates for them
to go in are about £1.20 for a four way (again from NetShop) - these
are
also angled at 45 degrees which looks nicer and puts less strain on the
cables.
RJ45 connectors I usually get from Craplins for about £0.27 each ...
