I was going to do that a while back, when one of my machines was prone to
frequent crashes. - just solder 1 pair of a CAT5 cable directly to the case
reset button (in parallel to the original reset switch), and patch that up
to my study, and then put a momentary switch on the other end.
In the end I managed to get the machine sorted out so it hasn't crashed now
for about 4 months... :-)
