Can't comment on the cable but I would suggest you run 2 co-axs as you may
decide to go with Sky Plus, its like TiVo with 2 built in Sky receivers so
you can watch one channel while you record another. I don't have one (yet?)
but a friend who has TiVo and Sky Plus says that TiVo is much better except
for the fact that you can watch and record at the same time with Sky Plus.

I have a TiVo at home and never (rarely) watch 'Live TV' its all via the
TiVo so the dual receiver is not that much of an advantage.

Just my Two Penneths worth.

I'm thinking about getting Sky Digi in, and I'd like to pre-wire to
where my TV is so I don't have holes drilled where I don't want them.

I know a few people have mentioned the B & Q version of CT100 cable
(DCT100) in the past, but has anyone installed this, and is it OK to
use?

Also, if you've done this pre-wiring for Sky, what connectors should I
put on the dangly end and the wall plate?  I'd guess at an F connector
in the loft, but any info would be appreciated.

On a related-ish note, I was browsing round B & Q the other day (as you
do :-) and noticed they had something that looked suspiciously like CAT5
cable, marked as D4PAIR, or BT CW1308 equivalent at about £21 a reel.
Does anybody know if this is high enough quality to use for networking/
video/KAT5 type of applications, or should I order kosher CAT5?
