Dan,
I've not even attempted to take up the floors - they are probably
technically "stirling board" rather than "chipboard",
BTW.
Here are the strategies I'm adopting:
- Wherever possible, run cables down inside fitted wardrobes.
- Take off the skirting boards, channel into the walls behind them
- Run out the external wall on one side of the house and come back in
below (only down the side passage - not where it shows.)

Mark Harrison

Chipboard Floors:
Looking at my floor construction upstairs it looks like large pieces of
chipboard that are tongued and grooved together. Also, it looks like
they
probably run under the walls too.
I am very unsure of whether I can just cut sections of the tongue and
grooving away to effectively lift a board, and then put it back down
safely
again. Anyone got any solutions or solved similar problems?
Cheers,
-Dan
