YES you noticed!!!!

I seem to be collecting things that do not work!

i.e.
A hardly used Pronto, cos its too intermittent,

A Meteor that does not display CID (NTL problem I think! actually got through today to a voice! only to find they do not work Sundays!)

Kitchen main lights do not want to respond to HV although will from a radio remote.

An AM12U that will not switch off (entirely) leaves an LED with power, cut the bit that they say to cut but does not work.

CCTV cameras that I cannot display on my web server pages.

Need I go on?

AND get this, when I had a discussion with NTL a few months back the outcome of which was I got £20 a month off my bill, it now turns out I am now on the 64K modem not as I asked for the 512K line!!
I have asked them numerous times am I still on the 512k link and was always told YES, I must admit it did seem slower on some web sites but still fast, not sure what to do about this as I have been misinformed.

Oh and did I say, a wheel on a wheel mouse!

I have the iTouch mouse, which is USB, connected directly to the USB on the mobo and its fine. Never had to use a USB stack on that machine, although I do have an MS optical trackball on my main PC that is USB and this only works when plugged straight into the mobo, not on a USB stack so I learned that it’s best to put these devices straight to the mobo, something to do with the mouse ini in Windows IIRC.

This is really really driving you nuts isn’t it? J

Have you got the iTouch connected to a Belkin Omni View SE 4 - Port KVM switch?

If you have and the wheel works then how did you get it to work? what setting have you got it on in the mouse properties?

Is your mouse a PS2 like Phil's or a USB like mine?

I wonder if I have got a different model then?

Did you say your wheel works?

Phil, you say your iTouch came with a PS2 -> serial adaptor?

The one I just bought yesterday has a USB -> PS2? that is why I was concerned when I unboxed it, I do not trust adaptors.

I still cannot get the wheel part to work.
