Phil,
I may be talking nonsense, but I don't think it's configurable in Win2k.
ISTR that the "DMA enable-disable" was a cludge under Win95 to
support
poorly-written device drivers for ATAPI. In Win2k, the P2P architecture
fundamentally works, and the resource handling is managed by that (and
therefore DMA is on all the time if your driver supports it.)
