I know this debate has raged on for ages and will continue to do so but
I've
not had this problem when 12v halogen bulbs have blown powered from
transformers ... I was discussing this with Ken the other day when I was up
there and he's using dimmable electronic transformers on LD10/11s too
without any problems.

There has to be some logic behind why some peoples transformers don't work
(and by don't work I mean the transformers that generate sufficient
electrical noise to mask X10 signals) and why some are fine.
