Thing is though Tim most people are happy to go bigger than that from a
1600
x 1200 source ... the mother in law often does A5 from a 1.3mp image and
she's happy. A4 from a 2.1mp image looks fine from a distance (say on a
wall) but does show up lumpy under closer examination.

If I get chance I'll try to run up some tests at different print sizes and
different source resolutions...
