I saw these a while back and was very impressed. The only potential draw
back with this approach is the lip that remains to hold the spacer and
circular cut-out is not very thick and therefore not too strong. The
circular/jigsaw saw method does produced something that is inherently
stronger because it produces a sloped rather than stepped edge. But there
is
no denying the simplicity and neatness of the router approach.
