Thats a *mind numbingly* bad idea!!
If this is a secure work related server, for instance, a Terminal Services
host, or a VPN server, then you really don't want it to be opened up to the
entire BT INternet Dial-in network.
There lives some of the most tedious
"Scriptkiddies-with-Scanners" in
existance.
Why not see if the host can accept connections from a hostname, using DNS
lookup rather than an IP address. Then you couldn use one of the Dynamic
DNS
services to make your BT connection always apear at the same
"name"..
