Depends ... the response time of a decent TFT panel is sufficient now to
allow the playing of games without smearing ... in the past the old passive
matix panels were shite for that kind of use. They won't handle refresh
rates of beyond maybe 60 or 70 Hz tops but since they're not redrawn in the
same way as a CRT then that doesn't matter so much.
