Nik,
Get an RGB to S-Video convertor from http://www.rgbtosvideo.com. Then
route
everything through the AV amp as S-Video. Difference in quality in
negligible. Works fine and dandy for me.

Subject: [ukha_d] svideo->svideo vs. svideo->RGB
At the moment, I have DVD, video etc. connected to TV's scarts
directly.
Sound is connected to apm. Now it makes a big confusion, because you need
to
use a few remotes to chose appropriate, sound and video source...
So, I decided to connect all those devices into AV amplifier and do the
switching there, so I'll need only one remote.
I have 3 SCART connectors on the back of the TV (Sony 32"), but only
one
capable of receiving RGB.
On the amplifier side, I have only S-video out on S-video connector.
My question is: should I connect S-video on amp to S-video on SCART on
TV,
or I should find some convertor that will convert S-video to RGB and use
RGB
pins on SCART.
Will I see any difference in quality?
Cheers,
Nik
