Yes - a big Mac fan - but also have frequent regressions to Windows - which itself has frequent regressions to a blue screen ;)
 
    Just to clarify your problem ... I think you mean that you don't see the status of X10 devices updated and reflected onscreen ? Right ? 
    Does this happen both when you issue commands through the CM12 and from an external X10 controller (if you have one) ?
    What you don't mean is that you are not getting responses to status request signals issued to you modules ? You would not get these as the modules you refer to (AM12 and LM12) unfortunately do not support 'status request' commands.
    Also presumably you do not have a serial port on the Mac to connect the CM12 to directly ? - just to compare.
 
Now just got to find that Belkin adaptor - no easy feat as I have recently moved house...
