After chatting it over with Phil, I toasted the old windows and did 
a clean install but keeping the cab files for the fuji-specific pen 
and video drivers.

Works fantastic now, with my wireless cards in.

All i need now is to source some more memory.
Had a look on crucial last night, but they don't seem to have 
anything other than 16mb modules in the right configuration.
