Re: SonicBlue now have Rios on sale in the UK

I bought three of these from Nick at Rio in the UK recently. I can
confirm the ones I received had a HPNA card included.

Incidently, HPNA worked fine for me, I think you might have problems
with HPNA with loads and loads of splitters etc. I had three
splitters on the line and it worked great, very conveinient solution
to running lots of CAT5. Only problem is HPNA stopped working after I
had ADSL installed. In theory they should co-exist on the same line,
in practice they didn't!

Don't let the idea of damaged packaging put you off, the three I
received had slightly dusty covers.

As an aside, I read the press release on automated home on the Linn
multi-room system costing =A340K. Reading the specs you can achieve
this with a dedicated PC, some CAT5 and a Rio in each room for under
a grand! Plus you now have another PC to run HA, Fileserver etc
(which is what I do!)
