<snip>
Or is there a way of compressing / splitting a ghost image? - I have
used
compression in the ghosting process, but they are still more than 640mb,
so
I can't put them onto CD-Rs
</Snip>
To compress an image you use the -z switch, to split use -span switch
Eg.
ghost -auto -span -split=625 -z9
in a command line will autoname the image, span the file over splits of
625M
(allow 15M free space for system files on the CD) with level 9 (best)
compresion.
It should ask you where to dump the image. This MUST be on
another
partition.
Hope this helps
Stuart
