The JReceiver site is http:\\jreceiver.sourceforge.net

This documentation tree is intended to be incorporated into the documentation found on the site in sections tagged "[Windows]". As such, it's worth reading the "white sections" of that site (and ignoring the Green (linux) ones).

To summarise briefly, there are two discrete parts to JReceiver, each with its own installation guide.

- the JReceiver server
- the JReceiver server extensions for the Rio Receiver

The JReceiver server splits into 5 steps:

- Install a Java Virtual Machine
- Install the MySQL database
- Install Jetty, a Java HTTP server that supports Java Servlets
- Install Jikes, a Java compiler
- Install JReceiver itself

I will be posting the sections pertaining to each step in a separate message....

Regards,

Mark
