I usually let HV go down with the power as it is useful to have it know
that it has been off and hence recover devices from power failures
properly however I do support my wireless LAN AP, DECT basestation and
Home Highway boxes as the last time we had a power out I couldn't report
it and had to go about a mile down the road to get a decent enough
signal to use the mobile from the car kit before I could report the
problem!
