Lutron "Telume" Light Switches

I'm after some information on how these Telume light switches
operate.  I
mean are they touch switch dimmers where by the hole face plate operates
the
light.  What are the little odd buttons in the corner?  What are
the red
dots in the middle?

Also is the remote control that is
available the same as the remote for the Lutron Magic Eye Range.

For the bedrooms in the past I've used a remote control lightswitch
called
"SuperSwitch".  But this seems to have been
discontinued.
