Okay,
I need a simple question answered, that is
currently driving me around the bend.
I have ntl digital entering the
house.
It splits the tv feed to the digibox and the
cable
modem.
The digibox does NOT pass thru the old
analogue
channels.
The old box did, but it died and they replaced
it
with another one when swmbo was here...
So, as I had to replace some cables anyhow,
(cause
swmbo's pet rabbit chewed them up pretty good)
I picked up an extra f-type spitter to use on
the
tv side of the original split.
One output from this splitter goes to the ntl
box,
the other ends in normal rf type connector.
All outputs are fine.
The problem comes when attempting to merge the
2 rf
signals together. That is, the 'pure' feed and the rf output from the
digibox.
That joined signal goes into the video and
then

It seems to me that whenever the two signals
are
merged, the picture quality dives. Its one of those y shaped
ones.
Is there any way to merge to rf cables without
having a bad picture?
