Tony,

Tony,

Who told you that? I’ve had three Vokera combi’s and had no trouble at all with them, trouble is when they do go it’s often the module that fries so can be expensive. However, having said that, condensers are a new way of doing things and, according to my heating engineer neighbour, *very* prone to breakdowns at the moment as the technology is reasonably new, not proven and in his opinion not worth the extra cash over a decent combi.

Plus you can still get a mains pressure shower >from style='font-weight:bold'>so* much!

K.

you want a condensing boiler.  v.efficient, high pressure, fcuks up every few weeks :(

ISTR my architect guy saying combi are a bit pants.  condensing rule.

Sadly my baxi barcelona has had more than it's fair share of problems.

bloody hot though!

And gr8 pressure.

Defintiely don't want gravity system, unless u want small trickles instead of raging torrents in your showers.

Mains pressure system is the way to go!

Tony

I've just been sent a 4 page fax by my architect with questions on there. One of them is do I want a combi-boiler for CH and HW or a cylinder system operating at greater than atmospheric pressure.

Answers on a postcard please....

Tim.
