Has anyone come across this before or does anyone have an idea of what
is happening?

I am trying to do a clean install of XP on my main "work" PC as I have
just replaced the PSU and I wanted to start from scratch.

Booted from CDRom, nuked the XP Partition and reformatted the drive,
installed XP and entered all the required information. Eventually you
get to the "Now lets spend a few minutes setting up your compuer" bit
and suddenly the keyboard and mouse stop working!

I have tried this with two different sets of keyboards and mice and I
have tried reinstalling XP 5 times since last night and each time it is
the same ... At that screen I no longer get keyboard and mouse input!

Anyone any ideas?

Phil
