Ian,
Ghost, doesn't mind a different sized disk,
you can use to
expand over the entire disk if you wanted. I have also used ghost to
shrink a partition.
Very good at what it does.

I may have an adaptor around or can get one quickly. I wonder if I
could
get
ghost just to copy the STD partition and then use fdisk as normal to
make
the main partition?
My new HD is different make/model/size to the old one.
