The other thing to consider is when you come to sell your house...
A distributed Coax system will be easier for the next owner to use, and
will
be a good selling point. (TV points in all rooms...)
If you are selling to the majority of the UK, they won't have a clue what
to
do with the Cat5, but the coax will make sense.

Anyone thought about producing a manual for the house for when they
sell?

route as you. I've pre-wired for coax ('cos I can afford to connect with

now) _and_ Cat5 ('cos I hope I can afford to connect with it in the
future).
