Just done my first test run of the Ross speakers, and for TTS output they'r= e
pretty good.  In the box you get 2 speakers, speaker mounting brackets= , the
transmitter, 3 wall warts (1 for each speaker, 1 for the xmitter) and 12 rechargeable batteries.  It runs at 863 Mhz.

The speakers will run straight from the chargers, and are switchable to out= put
L, R or mono.  Various leads are suppied to tap the line output from t= he PC (or
hifi, headphone socket etc).  Each speaker & the xmitter have a tu= ning dial to
tune into each other, and the speakers also have volume and bass boost.

Sound quality is good for TTS and general music output, though obvously not= up
to audiophile standards.  Fine for piping Wavefinder or mp3's around t= hough.

Only downside is that they do seem to pick up the usual buzzing noise from<= BR> mobiles jsut before they ring, but I've not yet experimented with the locat= ion
of the transmitter.
