Would be usefull information if it wasn't for the fact that the 890 has been discontinued for ages and Philips say they're gonna be producing the 940 until Q2 2003 at the moment.

This is to let you know that The Pronto RU890 and RU940 have been discontinued. This is quite a blow because their replacement ProntoNeo has been built to a price and is not as good as the trusty old pronto RU's. Don't be deceived by it's good looks, thats the 'only' improvement, It can't even use your old ccf files so you have to start programming from scratch.

Stocks in the UK are probably down to the last 100 and then it's goodbye.
