Doubt it's this - it has worked fine for 18 months, except for one occasion
a few months back when this same problem occured and was resolved by
unplugging, leaving overnight, and trying again the next day.
That doesn't seem to work now :(

No thanks - far too much messing about for my liking!!!

I will try the alternate PSU route and see what happens....
