RE: After Sky DigiBox - cheap suppliers ??

Gareth,

Why do you need a tivo AND a sky +?
I would have thought the SKY+ would do it all for you.... especialyl as they
are apparently planning an upgrade to let you record TWO sky channels and
watch another at the same time later in the year....

Just curious is all.

The planned updates are:

Summer 2002
Manual Recordings
- Record radio programmes (hitherto not possible with Sky+)
- Set up repeat recordings where Series Linking unavailable
- Set "padding" or extra time before/after scheduled recordings

Late 2002
ReView
- Ability for "constant recording" to enable rewind from live TV
- User definable "buffer"

Late 2002
Dual Simultaneous Recordings
- Record two programmes on different channels at the same time
- Watch recorded programme while recording two programmes
- Archive "paused" material to Sky+ Planner

I'm after a digibox - and then just get a free to air viewing card

I can then connect this up to the tivo rather than it interfering with my
Sky+ box. My LNB has two spare outputs and the old coax cable is there ready
to use.

Reckon I can get one for 40-50 quid from somewhere ?
