RE: WiFi

I'm looking at other options for speed, if the Linksys is 11Mbps but you
pnly get around 6Mbps this might be a bit suspect.

D-Link have a "22Mbps" effort,
http://www.dlink.com/products/digitalHome/wireless/11b+/di614+/
But I asume this is suspect?
Still looking..............

Where do you buy ready made antenna's?

Anyone tried Laser connections?

      If you look on the LinkSys web site they actually list both
      separately! Try searching for WAP11 in the box at the bottom of
the
      home page to see what I mean.

      WAP11 v2.2

      http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=157&grid=22
<http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=157&grid=22>

      WAP11 v2.2 features:
      - Provides Wireless Access Point or Bridging
      - MAC Filtering, and DHCP Client
      - Adjustable Antennas Provide for Easy Physical Configuration
      - Long Operating Range up to 1150 feet Outdoors
      - Easy to Use Web Browser-Based Configuration
      - Up to 256-bit WEP Security

      Old WAP11 at:

      http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=157&grid=22
<http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=157&grid=22>

      Data sheets and user guides available from these two links.

      There is NO new firmware for the older WAP11.
