Personally, I would go for the 1200btu units as it's a far better buy
IMO.

I'm still waiting the installation manual for these unit and, since I am now officially on holiday I won't see them until a week on Monday. :(

However, I did elicit some info on the phone yesterday that the units
are charged to accept 7M worth of hose! So I'm assuming that the hose
length will be pretty decent from that, probably somewhere between 3 and 6M in length I assume which makes an install a pretty flexible affair.

There should only be a mains connection, a hole to be drilled and a some basic plug-it-in stuff going on with the install.
