If I was in the market for a new PocketPC now, I would either buy a Toshiba e570 now or wait a couple of weeks for the e740 to start shipping in the UK (2 weeks or so). The Tosh machines have a built in SD and CF slots. With the 740 you have the choice of either built in BT or 802.11.

Another reason to buy BT iPAQs

Just got this s/w  for managing BT GSM phones - really nice.. Lets you leave your phone in your pocket while using iPAQ.

But it seems not all BT handsets are not created equal.. The 6310i seems to be considerably less controllable via BT

The T68i seems to be a very capable item with this s/w.

Thinking of changing my 6310i with T68i.

Oh yeah, they seem to have a workaround for BT headset use when using PDA.

Seems current BT chips allow a peer to peer only.

The data stats are useful also the get a quick idea of your GPRS use.

It's a bit slow to load and sometimes flakey (may be the Nokia) while trying to dial out.

If you have a T68i you get to use it much more effectively.

Shame about Nokia but I have never got to work via BT for anything other than modem use.

Any views??
