Dont use pc cctv card but  this is what i use to distribute cctv
around the house.
I have an 8 channel video switcher with alarm inputs . Normally the
switcher
sequences thru 1 to 8 . I select which camera i want to look at by
triggering the alarm contact for that channel . The only drawback is its
timed which means after a couple of minutes it reverts to seq mode . My
alarm system can trigger the inputs and also the home brew ir . The video
out (after going thru video recorder) goes to a rf modulator (good quality)
and them to a signal combiner then off to the 4 way splitter (to tv points)
