After a slight shift around my Node 'O' is taking a walk 5 feet to the
left. (Very long story, just don't ask.)
One small problem is that I have 12 runs of CAT5 which now could do
with
being just that little bit longer! Its not the end of the world because
I can just move the patch panel to the bottom of the rack, but it would
be nice to leave it where it was intended to go.
I know the 'book of Cat5 rules' states that you NEVER join Cat5 lengths
but have noticed that couplers have started appearing (Even in
Screwfix.).
Is their a reliable solution?
Can it be done?
Has any one any experience?
P.S. I really don't want to re-run the lengths. That would be MAJOR
upheaval and a large bag of patching plaster!!!!!
Many Thanks
Rob
