I was having exactly the same though the other night, Ant.

I've already got a wired alarm system which I'd simply like to replace
the main box of - i.e. leave the PIRs (and if possible, the keypads).

I like the relative simplicity of Powermax (and it's cost) - but the
wirelessness of it puts me off.

The other thing was it'd be good if it worked with Intamac's Home
Manager...so I was beginning the task of looking at the ones they
support. That mainly being:

SCANTRONIC: 9750/9751/9752, 9850/9851/9852, 8136
MENVIER: TS690, TS790, TS2500, TS900
DSC: 'Power 832', 'Envoy'
