Rather than run one core back to the fuse board why not disconnect the feed
and switchwire then run a T&E back to the fuse board, it would be a tidier
way to do it, also it would remove the problem if the lighting circuits are
split on two fuses as each light would be providing its own supply.
The same idea could be applied to the 2amp sockets or you could do it by
running a T&E from the existing switch. BTW unlike a normal ring main the
2amp sockets would not have been wired in a ring.
