Yes, I do if I need to backup a disc. :)

I use Smart Ripper or suchlike to rip the movie then IFOEdit to strip
out what I don't need or want then a compression tool whatever one I
fancy at the time and re-compress. After that it's just a case of
burning using you're favourite bit of burning software.
Of course that makes it sound dead easy! ;)
It is not particularly difficult to do this but it is *very* time
consuming, for example to re-pack a movie can and, usually does, take
several hours even on a reasonable machine. Even my 2Ghz P4 server
takes
roughly 6 hours per movie to do this so don't expect it to be quick.
