Ah blimey that one gets me going. My SWMBO cannot get to grips with
Tivo. Made worse by the fact that e'thing is in Node '0' and she only
has a Pronto to look at. I've re-written the pronto interface a few
times to make it simpler but were just not getting there!
I'm unsure what to do:
1) Get new SWMBO. (Or just do without.)
2) Buy a colour Pronto or one of those big ipronto things from the
states! Thus simpler to use.
3) Develop a web interface to send IR control. That way it could be
really user friendly.
Any one found a reliable way to report if a device is on or off. i.e.
Current sensor? I know you can get them for Comfort, anyone tried a
solution that works?
Guess really I should get round to wiring up my Comfort (and various
UCM's.). Oh then install Ace, oh when I've built the server, oh when
I've got another rack (Caus the 42" one I've got is full.)......Oh
flippin eck!
Many thanks
