I have a problem which is a bit difficult to explain, but I'll try
anyway.
I recently got the DTVA and was trying to install it in my AV setup by
hanging it off an AV-hub (Philex, 6 in, 1 out, IR selectable). This
works
without a hitch for a DVD-player, PSone, TiVo, VCR, Canal+ and Sky
Digibox.
As I had plans to dedicate the Sky box to the TiVo and use the DTVA for
normal 'live' TV I disconnected the Sky scart and inserted the DTVA
one. As
soon as I connected the Aerial lead to the scart connector,
interference
occurred on the output, like it was overamplifying the signal. A
buzzing/humming noise accompanied it as well.
Thinking I had received a duff DTVA I plugged it in straight into the TV
and
it worked without flaw.
To circumvent things I have now dedicated the DTVA to the TiVo, and use
the
Sky box to watch 'live' TV, but ideally I would like this problem
sorted.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Are there things like filters
in
existence, which might offer a solution?
