Usually happens if there's some kind of interruption while downloading.
Because I access my Demon mail both from home and work, I opt to leave a
copy on the server for a day or so. When this happens, it resends
everything that is still on the server, regardless of whether it has
already been downloaded or not.

I wrote some VB code to help eliminate the duplicate messages (if you're
using Outlook). It's in the Files area if it's any use to you.
