Spoke with Crucial - they say the SoDIMMs will have to be put in, in pairs. I've ordered a set up and I'll try it wednesday.

If we ordered 100 sets then I'm sure we'd get a discount. If we have to buy 2 x 32Mb, it's about 65 quid then for the upgrade.
