Could you not use a powerflash module
inbetween the switched feed ?
Or does it only work on 12v/Low Ampage
circuits... ?

I never said I'd thought it through!...
I guess there's no reason it couldn't by sited anywhere you like, The only
important thing being that it goes on the switched side of the LD11, so it
gets switched with the light fitting...
You're right about the dimming though, cos the dim level would alter the
input to the primary of the transformer, which presumably would
proportionally alter the voltage output on the secondary...
Presumably at some point (at a low enough dim level), that might actually
drop low enough for the controller to think the light was off?
However, if you're using an analog input, then the changing secondary
voltage is just what you want anyway, to work out the dim level, something
along the lines of 12V = 100%, 6V=50% etc...
Still need Keith to chip in and blow all this out of the water with some
insightful explanation of basic electronics principles that makes all this
impossible....
