I like the 'ports' on FreeBSD for installing
things. It searches the net and finds the application and
dependancies.
If you want it real easy - answer a few
questions
and up checkout SME V5.1.2 formerly e-smith at www.e-smith.net based on red

Subject: [ukha_d] FreeBSD or
Linux
Hi,
Im about to get ADSL, i've been running Linux
for years as a server for my Windows Machine behind ISDN. Got a
few
questions though, :)
I've heard a lot of good stuff about FreeBSD,
it
seems very fast compared to linux and doesn't have the
bulkness.
Just after some advice.... Its mainly used as a mail
server,
web server (for HA)+php, firewall and remote management.
The
machine its going onto is a Celeron 400.
Kind Regards, Chris
Bond
