Hard wired X10 kit and building/fire regulations

A boring subject I know, but can anyone tell me whether I'll be breaking
any
building or fire regulations if I fit in-line X10 modules in the light
fittings and/or above the ceilings in my house? I'm thinking of
disconnecting the wires leading to the switch and putting inline modules in
instead. Then I'll use X10 switches to control them...

I want to make sure I don't invalidate the house insurance in case there's
a
fire.
