We are looking for a (cheap) PABX for the house, mostly for our business
which is run from home.

We have Business Highway, but the Data side of things is fine as is. I was
contemplating a 2-line analogue one, and reckon I need at least five actual
extensions. I fancy using anotehr one for a modem connection to facilitate
phoning up the server to do "cool X-10 stuff", and possibly one
for an
intercom on the front door also. 2+8 perhaps?

I am assuming simple things like being able to pick up an incoming call on
either line from any phone, and having different rings for each line (one
line is personal, one business) are standard..

Features like being able to page all extensions for home announcements
would
be nice, as would a nice easy to get at interface (phones ringing signal
etc, to allow muting of audio, X-10/IR responses etc..

any suggestions on makes? suppliers? things to watch for?

Ian.
