Keith - I've been meaning to as ask you what the extra little circuit board is in the top right of the 2+8's case, it doesn't say much on the board and there isn't a mention of it in the sparse instructions I have. Any ideas?

The BT 2+8 is made by Phillips, I very much doubt it would be rebadged as something else and sold in China.
