There are two types of plasma screens.
Class
A and class B. The class B
screens
have additional radiation shielding and are considered suitable for home
use. Class
A screens are commercial versions without the
shielding.
I have no idea what the actual
intensity
differences in the radiation emitted are between the two, maybe the only
impact
you might have of using class A at home is you might be able to top up your
tan
whilst watching Eastenders
!!!

When you say they have no shielding, is that a
cover over the display or
something?
