Ian,

I got a UIRT working, and I'll sing it's praises to the heavens, but I am
*not* in any way
an electronics guru. If you fancy a crack at making a PCB layout for this
schematic, not only
would I not feel my toes stepped on, I'd be positively *delighted*

My own stripboard version *works* but I'm sure it could be a whole lot
better.

I'll mail you the shcematic (with some notes) off list
