I think the whole thing has a nice symmetry with Argos :-)
You look up in a book in their shop. Write down what you want on a bit
of paper. Go to the till and pay using your credit card. They give you a
reciept and you go to the desk to await it falling down the chute :-)
Agos and the =A32.99 TV had the distinction that it was an obvious mistake
to a "reasonable man". Kodak on the other had was not an obvious
mistake
as many of the forums/emails about it before it became apparent can
testify. Kodak are screwed and know it. This is now a damage limitation
exercise. Limit the number of people who actually try to take them to
the small claims court and they limit their outlay.=20
