Oh Wow!!! I've been looking for something like this for ages. Thanks
Dave

I've just installed this! (Had to download it from somewhere else as the
pocketgear page was causing blue screen of death)

I'm running an Ipaq with Symbol Wi-Fi card

Works really well, although I'm not sure I'm a Winamp fan. (Been using
Windows Media Player for ages.) The software takes a while to connect
and get listing of all the MP3's in the WinAmp interface, but once it's
got everything, it works a treat. It's real quick to scroll through all
the tracks (2300 of them) and as soon as a track is tapped on, the
player changes instantly. Only downside is that if the Ipaq powers off,
you have to re-connect to the server

Now what I need is to connect the PC Audio to the Hi-Fi amp and get some
serious whole house speaker kit!!

Can anyone give me any input on the MP3 Anywhere kit? Is it any good?
How is the quality? Where is the cheapest place to get it etc?

Cheers

Eric (Kinda new to HA)

Found this neat free programme to control Winamp via the Ipaq over a
wireless or serial/USB link.

With Paul Gordons Veronica transmitter idea, I think I might just have a
go
with this once I get the wireless setup purchase and installed.
