Ordered some more components today.

Spent the last couple of days reading datasheets and application notes.

About to start playing with a PIC chip that users will be able to update from their own PC having downloaded the latest firmware from my site. I will be writing a small VB application to do the loading and then will have a small project box with a few LED's on it that will be driven by a couple of demo programs. I will then be looking for a couple of victims to test the update procedure. It may involve an element of risk as I dont know how good my first VB Loader application will be !!!!

Any ETAs for the switcher, Keith ?

And a distributor or mass producer (under license) for you ?

[Kenneth Watt]

If you will be using KAT5 why not hang on for the switcher then it won't
matter where you put it if you use KAT5 to route to all the displays?
